Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be enrolled full time (9+ credits) in an approved academic program (see below).
Must maintain good academic standing and meet the enrollment requirements.
Must commit to working 20 hours per week as part of the assistantship/fellowship.
Accepted Academic Programs
This position is open to students currently enrolled and in good standing in the Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security and Criminal Justice Leadership program.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct literature reviews and assist with data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Prepare research reports, summaries, and presentations.
Assist in maintaining research databases and organizing project materials.
Collaborate on research design, methodology, and execution.
Assist in preparing academic papers for publication.
Other research related activities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
An internship or other experience with a Criminal Justice or Homeland Security organization.
Compensation & Benefits
Tuition Remission:
$8,750 per semester (on tuition only – this does not cover fees)
Stipend (Fall through Spring)
$6,000 (Yr 1)
