Navy Intelligence Officer

Job Title: Navy Intelligence Officer (Active Duty Officer)

Overview

Navy Intelligence Officers are trusted leaders responsible for delivering critical intelligence that supports military operations, national security objectives, and global mission success. In this role, you will work alongside aviation units, surface ships, submarines, special operations forces, and joint military commands to provide real-time intelligence analysis and operational support.

Intelligence Officers assess global threats, monitor geopolitical developments, evaluate adversary capabilities, and provide commanders with the information needed to make strategic decisions in high-pressure environments.

What You’ll Do
• Analyze classified intelligence from multiple sources, including satellite imagery, cyber intelligence, surveillance systems, and human intelligence
• Provide mission briefings and threat assessments to senior Navy and Department of Defense leadership
• Support operational planning for global maritime, aviation, expeditionary, and special warfare missions
• Track foreign military capabilities, emerging technologies, and international security developments
• Coordinate with intelligence agencies and joint military commands
• Lead intelligence specialists and manage intelligence operations centers
• Utilize advanced intelligence software, communication systems, and analytical tools
• Participate in worldwide operations supporting national defense missions

Training & Career Development

Selected candidates will attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) followed by specialized intelligence training. Officers receive advanced leadership development, intelligence analysis instruction, and operational planning experience throughout their careers.

Qualifications
• U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Eligible for Top Secret Security Clearance
