IT Cybersecurity and Operations Support

TWU Local 100 is one of the biggest transportation workers union in NYC and is looking to hire an IT Operational & Cybersecurity Support Employee. You will be providing support for the 250 Staff Members and Top 11 Executive Offices located at the union hall in Brooklyn with 4 Remote Sites. Primary function will be to monitor security alerts and incidents based on reports from Microsoft products. Create security tickets and perform remediation steps to address any vulnerabilities. Maintain and support compliance with cybersecurity frameworks. Work closely with IT operations and report to IT Operations. This will require basic troubleshooting for Microsoft Windows 11 PC workstations and a few Apple Mac OS X computers used for graphic designs. Support for Mobile Devices on both Android and Apple iOS devices at times is required. We also ask for someone with basic Microsoft Office 365 Suites knowledge. Maintaining an IT equipment inventory at all times to keep track of devices that are released and returned. Providing support also for our Field Depot locations spread across the 4 NYC boroughs and upstate by Yonkers and Connecticut. Provide support for CopyCenter printers when required by the union officers and reps such as guiding an end user for proper use and tutorials. Provide support for teleconferencing equipment in meeting rooms and individual offices relating to small group meetings or virtual Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings.
