About the Role
We're looking for a Cyber Security Researcher to join our team. You'll investigate emerging threats, develop new defensive techniques, and contribute to research that shapes how organizations protect their most critical systems. This isn't a monitoring role — it's hands-on research work with real impact.
What you'll do
- Conduct original research into vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and defensive countermeasures across a range of systems and platforms - Analyze malware, exploit code, and adversarial tactics to understand how threats operate and how to stop them - Develop proof-of-concept tools and techniques to validate findings - Publish findings internally and externally — reports, papers, presentations - Collaborate with engineers and analysts to translate research into actionable defensive capabilities - Stay current on the threat landscape and relevant academic and industry research
About you
- Strong foundation in computer science, security, or a related technical field - Hands-on experience with vulnerability research, penetration testing, or malware analysis - Comfortable working at multiple layers of the stack — from network protocols to operating system internals - Familiarity with reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar) - Solid understanding of cryptographic concepts and their practical applications - Experience writing and reading code in at least one systems language (C, C++, Rust) and one scripting language (Python, etc.) - Strong written communication — you can turn complex findings into clear, concise reports
Nice to have
- Published research or CVEs - Experience with cloud or embedded systems security - Familiarity with formal methods or program analysis tools - Graduate degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
