The Security Products & Technology team is seeking a motivated, experienced Associate Engineer, Digital Design Engineer to provide support to our business unit located at ADI’s Dallas, TX, Tampa, FL or Wilmington, MA. As ADI continues to grow its capability in embedded security technology, we have the need for a Digital Design Engineer that will work with a multi-functional engineering team to develop RTL that supports a range of block, subsystem, and system solutions for embedded security solutions. You will have hands on all facets of software development of subsystems that will ensure we can keep all of ours and our customers products secure. You will work alongside a group of passionate security engineers to solve complex security problems and support the deployment of cryptography-based solutions.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Document, design, and support IC level security solutions across company businesses and technology groups
  • Write System Verilog HW functions targeting security IP, and provide embedded hands-on contribution during integration of IP into ADI products
  • Contribute to ASIC digital µArchitecture, design and verification
  • Support simulation and silicon verification and validation of IP, test and evaluation of ASIC products and FPGA development systems
  • Actively track and proactively communicate status to team and management using Agile development practices
  • Support hand-off and integration of blocks into larger SoC environments
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • Proficiency in System Verilog and UVM
  • Knowledge of Cadence and Synopsys IC tool suites and simulators, C/C++, Python
  • Proficient in various design languages for RTL development
  • Fundamental knowledge of Cyber Security concepts
  • Must be willing to work with geographically disbursed design teams, spanning multiple time zones
  • Must be able to set priorities, deliver on commitments, work autonomously
  • Self-motivated and driven to continually improve
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a technical audience
