Python Teaching Assistant in Detroit, Michigan

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Teaching Assistant to support our basic Python course. You will assist two instructors.  Previous TA experience not required, but a solid understanding of basic Python and a heart for helping young people are a must have!  As a Teaching Assistant, you will be trained to collaborate with the instructors to facilitate class activities, assist students with coding exercises, and provide valuable guidance to ensure a positive learning experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your Python skills while helping others embark on their programming journey.

The program will run from Monday, July 8, 2024 to Thursday, August 15, 2024.  The training will be held in the Foxtown area, perfect for UM Detroit Center candidates but open to all.  Hours are 10am - 2pm Monday - Thursday.  You must be on-site.  Pay is $20/hour.
