The Management Consulting (MC) Intern utilizes his or her educational background as well as his or her organizational skills to serve the firm’s client base. The MC Intern assists in providing basic services to clients in the areas of business performance improvement, IT business enablement and technology operations, partnering with more experienced MTAS professionals who provide direction, coaching and learning opportunities. The MC Intern participates in various stages of consulting engagements, and provides assistance with planning, execution and close out.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Management, Finance, or Information Systems, required
Experience:
- Project delivery experience, preferred
- Leadership experience, preferred
License/Certifications:
- N/A
Software:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Word, and PowerPoint, required
Language:
- N/A
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting
- Strong analytical and basic research skills
- Solid organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel 20%-50% of schedule
