Network Security Software Developer
Location: This role is based in our Austin, TX office and requires being in the office three days a week as part of our hybrid schedule.
Position Summary:
The Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) team is responsible for developing and securing next-generation remote access solutions. This role focuses on enhancing security, visibility, and access control by designing and implementing Zero Trust Secure Access technologies that protect enterprise networks from evolving cyber threats.
As a ZTNA team member, you will work on network security and continuous monitoring, ensuring robust protection against unauthorized access. This includes comprehensive visibility, automated security policies, and seamless cloud integration. The role involves working with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud security architectures, and modern networking frameworks to build scalable, high-performance security solutions.
Candidates will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, reliable ZTNA deployments by leveraging advanced networking techniques and security best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and efficient system architectures which align with business requirements.
- Participate in building systems which can handle large volumes of data, and complex business logic.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, new tools and concepts to enhance the software development lifecycle.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Manager (PM), Human Interface Engineer (HIE), Software Architects, Developers, SDET and design effective test strategy.
Qualifications:
- Experience in programming languages like C++, Python, and Golang.
- Knowledge of network protocols.
- Experience in Docker, Kubernetes and microservices.
- Experience with cloud networking and security. (e.g., AWS or Azure).
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment DevOps practice.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- BS CS/CE or related field or equivalent industry experience.
