The people were all friendly and willing to help. The company is constantly having different events going on to participate in. The challenges to solve were demanding but never felt like too much pressure.

Wonderful office atmosphere, flexible hours, and great amenities. Work was never really stressful.
What I wish was different
More stable work for interns.
Advice
Talk to people early on! Everyone is very friendly, and it helps to get to know them before asking them for help later on (Yes, you will need help! The code base is large and complex).

Sales Intern
May 2017 • Cincinnati, OH
What I liked
Worldpay is extremely flexible to your career interests. If they see that you're not enjoying a project or a line of work your managers and program leaders will find new projects that will potentially meet your interests. I also really appreciated the exposure to senior level management you receive, most executives are very generous with their time and come to speak to interns a handful of times in the summer.
What I wish was different
N/A
Advice
I'd suggest networking with those that aren't in your direct line of business. Since Worldpay is a company with a wide variety of career paths there are so many opportunities to pursue that you wouldn't have been exposed to without networking.

Backend Software Engineer
May 2018 • Denver, CO
What I liked
I loved the team that I worked with because they provided great mentors.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have worked on more than just backend development.
Advice
Having an internship is highly recommended since you can really see what it means to work somewhere that requires your degree. Things are very different in school compared to actual employment.
